Accessibility

Quore Gelato wants this website to work for everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, need larger text, or prefer reduced motion.

Where we stand

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We have not completed an independent audit, so we do not claim conformance. We would rather tell you exactly where we are than make a claim we cannot yet stand behind.

What we have done

While building this site we specifically:

• Measured text contrast against its background on every page and corrected what fell below the standard — including several places where text was effectively invisible.
• Wrote descriptive alternative text for images that carry meaning.
• Gave every link and button a visible keyboard focus outline.
• Set width and height on every image so the page does not jump while loading.
• Honoured the system’s reduced motion setting: the scrolling client banner becomes a static grid for anyone who has asked for less animation.
• Checked that pages work down to a 375 pixel screen without sideways scrolling.
• Used real headings and landmarks rather than styled text, so a screen reader can navigate the structure.

Where we know we fall short

Being specific about this is more useful than a blanket claim:

• The site has not been tested with every screen reader and browser combination.
• Some decorative animation still plays for visitors who have not enabled the reduced motion setting.
• Photographs of our boutiques carry short descriptions; they do not describe every visual detail of the interior.

Our boutiques

Accessibility at our physical boutiques varies with each building. If you would like to know about access at a particular location before you visit, call us and we will describe it honestly.

Third-party content

Some parts of the experience come from other companies — typefaces, maps, and the social platforms we link to. We do not control their accessibility, but we will help you reach the same information another way if they get in your path.
