Behind the counter
Six years in a row, Miami has called us its best gelato. Here is what actually goes into that, and why we treat it as a standard to hold rather than a trophy to display.
From 2021 through 2026, Quore Gelato has been recognised as the best in Miami. Not once, and not in a single category — six years running, across our gelato and across our boutiques.
One award is luck. Two is momentum. Six consecutive years is a process that does not depend on any single person having a good week.
We make every batch in our own Miami facility. We do not buy pre-made base, which is the single most common shortcut in this business and the reason so much gelato in the city tastes like the same gelato.
Owning production is also what lets us run three separate brands from one kitchen — the classic line, the spirits-infused line, and the one we make for dogs — without any of them being a compromise version of another.
Our spirits line is made with real bottles, not flavourings: cognac, small-batch bourbon, botanical gin, blanco tequila, premium vodka and sparkling rosé, churned into the gelato itself. Basil Hayden and Belvedere are sponsoring spirits of that line.
It is sold to adults aged 21 and over only. Everything else we make — and it is most of what we make — is for everybody.
An award is somebody else’s opinion. The only one that matters is yours, and it costs one scoop to form. We have five boutiques across South Florida, open seven days a week.
